Mission
Ceramics Club strives to provide a space for creative individuals who have a passion for pottery or an interest in learning more about the art form, regardless of previous experience!
Club History
Ceramics Club was founded in the fall of 2021 with the goal of making ceramics more accessible to all UW students. Since then, we have offered a variety of activities on campus and around Seattle. We have also established a partnership with a local private studio to offer studio access to our members! We have always been a completely student run organization.
Being a Member
Membership to Ceramics Club is completely free! To be considered a member, all you have to do is join our mailing list. We do not hold regular or mandatory club meetings--instead, we are an events-based organization. We host two to four events per quarter on campus, which range from free to a few dollars to participate. We also host studio sessions multiple times per week at the Wet Clay Cafe in Fremont. We have a variety of different options for our studio sessions, all of which can be found on our studio session page. By joining our mailing list, you will receive real-time updates when we release sign ups for new events. You can also stay up to date by following our Instagram account @ceramicsclubatuw.
